Application & Dosage – Vermicompost
1. For Seedlings and Potting Mix
Mix 1 part vermicompost with 2–3 parts garden soil before planting.
This ensures healthy seed germination and early root growth.
2. For Vegetable Crops
Apply 2–3 tons per acre before planting and mix it well with the topsoil.
For kitchen gardens, use 500 g to 1 kg per square meter of bed area.
Side-dress with small amounts every 30–40 days for best results.
3. For Fruit Trees
Apply 2–5 kg per young tree or 5–10 kg per mature tree, once or twice a year.
Spread evenly around the root zone and lightly mix into the soil.
4. For Flowering and Ornamental Plants
Mix 20–30% this compost with garden soil in pots or beds.
Add a small handful (about 100–200 g) around each plant every 2–3 months.
5. For Lawns
Spread a thin layer (about 1 kg per square meter) over the surface and water thoroughly.
Repeat every 2–3 months to maintain healthy, green grass.
